Nebim Volvo – collective page of classic Volvo trucks of the F and B10M ranges: six-cylinder engines of 5.5 litres displacement, 5,902 to 14,460 kg unladen weight, up to 25.5 tonnes gross weight
This page lists vehicles of the classic Volvo F6, F7, F10 and F12 ranges and the B10M bus and coach chassis, built from the 1970s to the early 1990s. The type logic of the F range combined size with engine power: F10 and F12 name the engine series (TD100/TD120), the following number as in F1025 the power in horsepower, and suffixes such as SVV or VAS-T the drivetrain and transmission variant. The B10M, whose designation refers to the horizontally mounted ten-litre engine set beneath the passenger floor, was for decades Europe's most widely built bus chassis and was bodied among others by Carrus, Van Hool and Jonckheere.

The register lists here 11 versions, all from six-cylinder engines, unladen weights from 5,902 to 14,460 kg, gross weights from 9,700 to 25,500 kg, lengths from 6,210 to 7,200 mm and widths from 2,500 to 2,550 mm.
The F range was, alongside Scania and DAF, one of the mainstays of European long-haul transport in the 1980s before being replaced from 1993 by the FH/FL programme; the B10M remained the basis of countless service and touring coaches across Europe into the 1990s.
On used examples, rust on the frame and cab mounts, the condition of the clutch and manual gearbox, the tightness of the injection pump and, on the bus chassis, the condition of the underfloor and wheel suspension count; parts for the classic Volvo six-cylinders remain available through specialist workshops.
