The B-275 is among the most-built IH Doncaster tractors of its class and was a widespread all-purpose tractor for smaller and mid-sized farms in Britain and the Commonwealth, with which International Harvester competed against Ferguson and Fordson. Its four-cylinder diesel and simple mechanical layout made it a straightforward tractor to maintain, which contributed to its long service life on many farms.
