Lindner Geotrac Series I – tractors from Kundl in Tyrol, models from 50 to 100, three- and four-cylinder diesel engines, 2,700 to 4,000 cm³ displacement, 2,560 to 3,720 kg unladen weight
Lindner builds the first Geotrac series at its plant in Kundl in Tyrol; it comprises the Lindner 50 N/A and the Geotrac 60 N/A, 70 A, 80 A and 100 A, with three- or four-cylinder diesel engines. The type numbers from 50 to 100 order the models by power class, with N and A denoting different equipment variants. The family-owned Lindner company still manufactures at the same Kundl site today and has continuously developed the Geotrac range ever since.

The register lists 5 versions from three- and four-cylinder engines of 2,700 to 4,000 cm³ displacement, unladen weights of 2,560 to 3,720 kg, lengths of 3,512 to 3,850 mm, widths of 1,770 to 2,090 mm, heights of 2,260 to 2,560 mm and a rated speed of 2,200 to 2,250 rpm.
The Geotrac range positions Lindner as an Austrian specialist in compact, versatile tractors for mountain farming, municipal services and smaller arable farms; Series I founded the Geotrac model family that continues to this day.
On used Series I Geotrac models, check the clutch and gearbox, the hydraulic pump and PTO, and rust on the cab and frame, which can be more pronounced from slope work and road salt in mountain use; also check the front axle joints and steering linkage for wear, with parts supplied through Lindner's dealer network in Austria and neighbouring countries.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
- Shift the gearbox cold and warm — jumps only show up at temperature.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
