Landini Legend – Italian large tractors from Fabbrico: six-cylinders from 76 to 118 kW, DT denoting permanent four-wheel drive
Landini builds the Legend series at the Fabbrico plant in the province of Reggio Emilia, the brand's traditional home, now part of the Argo Tractors group alongside McCormick and Valpadana. The DT suffix stands for Doppia Trazione, four-wheel drive, and appears on most Legend models such as the 105 DT, 130 DT and 165 DT. The number in the type designation follows the rated output, while TECHNO denotes a higher specification variant.

The register lists here 9 versions with 75.8 to 117.7 kW (103 to 125 hp) from six-cylinders of 5,985 cm³, unladen weights of 5,410 to 5,970 kg, lengths of 4,780 to 5,420 mm, widths of 2,340 to 2,480 mm and heights of 2,580 to 2,890 mm.
The Legend series was Landini's offering in the upper power segment and competed with Fendt, John Deere and its sister brand McCormick; the large-displacement six-cylinder engines were built for drawbar pull in heavy tillage and work with large implements.
When buying Legend models used, what counts is the condition of the four-wheel drive and transfer gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics, rust on wings and cab frame, and the service history of the six-cylinder engine; spare parts run through Landini's Argo Tractors dealer network. The condition of the PTO and trailer brake valves also belongs on the checklist, along with the seals of the cooling system.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
