The Kirowez series from Kirowwerk includes the Kirowez K-710. The machine is 7,200 mm long, 3,000 mm wide and 3,800 mm high. Top speed is 40 km/h. 8 Kirowwerk models are on record.
The K-710 is driven by a V12 diesel engine, the JaMZ-240; the abbreviation JaMZ stands for the Yaroslavl engine plant. With twelve cylinders in a V layout the engine delivers very high torque at low speed, which is needed for heavy tillage with large working widths.
The Kirovets tractors are articulated four-wheel-drive large tractors from the Kirov works in Saint Petersburg. Articulated steering spreads drawbar pull over both axles and, despite the large dimensions, allows tight turns at the headland.
Kirovets K-700 to K-9000 – articulated tractors from the Kirov Plant in St Petersburg, lengths 7.0 to 9.0 m, widths 2.53 to 3.0 m
The Kirovets K-700 range comes from the Kirov Plant in Leningrad, today's St Petersburg, which has built the articulated four-wheel-drive tractor in series since 1962. From the K-700 through the K-701, K-702 and K-703 to the K-744 and the even larger K-9000, the range grew into Russia's largest series-built tractor to this day; its defining feature is the articulated steering, where the front and rear halves of the vehicle pivot against each other, allowing a tight turning radius despite large tyres.

The register lists here 8 versions with lengths of 7,010 to 9,000 mm, widths of 2,530 to 3,000 mm and heights of 3,450 to 3,800 mm.
Kirovets tractors have shaped and still shape large-scale farming in Russia, Kazakhstan and other former Soviet countries, where they are used for heavy tillage, transport across large fields and as a base for attachments such as snow ploughs and loader buckets; the Kirov Plant continues to build the range under the Kirovets brand today.
When buying a used Kirovets, the condition of the articulation joint and its hydraulic cylinders, the tightness of the central hydraulic system and corrosion on the frame and cab rank among the key checkpoints; spare parts for the older K-700 model years are widely available across the former Soviet Union, while parts for the newer K-744 generations run through the Kirov Plant itself.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
