The 6030 series was John Deere's mid-range from the Mannheim plant from 2006 to 2011 – the successor to the 6020s and the range that brought the transition to Stage IIIA with the PowerTech Plus engines with common rail and EGR. The type logic continues the Mannheim tradition: the 6 stands for the series, the second digit orders the size class in ascending order – 6130 the four-cylinder entry model, 6330 and 6430 the four-cylinder mid-range, 6530 to 6930 the six-cylinders – the 30 the generation; the 6534 was an intermediate model with a four-cylinder at the output of a small six. Premium marked full equipment with AutoPowr continuously variable transmission, suspended front axle and cab suspension, Standard the simpler version – the split Deere renamed 6R and 6M in 2012.
