This range gathers Holder's early single-axle tractors, which sit in a second maker record of the register: E 6, E 7 and E 11, the variants EB, ED and EF and the post-war types BED II and ED 10 – machines with which the crop-protection maker from Metzingen relieved the vintners and gardeners of the Swabian Alb and the Neckar valley of hand labour from the 1930s. The type logic: E stands for the single-axle tractor (Einachser), the number for the hp class – E 6 about 6 hp, E 11 about 11 hp – and the second letter for the engine: B for petrol, D for diesel, F for the bought-in engine of a supplier such as ILO or Sachs; G on the E 6 G marks a version variant.
