FSC (Fabryka Samochodów Ciężarowych, Truck Factory), based in Starachowice, Poland, built medium-duty trucks under the Star brand from 1948 for the domestic market and for export to the Eastern Bloc. This page gathers versions outside the named series: from the early post-war Star 20/21/25/27 models, through the Star 200, built in large numbers and, from 1973, the most widely used truck on Polish roads, to the heavy Star 1142/1144 and the Star 1366. The four-digit type designation used from the 1980s ordered load class and engine specification according to an internal factory scheme.
