The register lists here 24 versions with 3 to 15 kW, two- to four-pole. Full-load efficiencies range from 87.3 to 92.17% and at 75% load from 87.6 to 92.5%. Frame sizes run from 100 to 160 under IEC, protection rating is IP54, with nine versions additionally recorded with IP55, the mounting code is uniform: B3/B5/B14/B34/B35. Mains voltages recorded are the combinations 400/690 V and 240/415 V. Manufacturing is entirely in China, tested to the GEMS 2019 determinations with test methods A, B and 2-1-1B. Nine versions reach the High Efficiency Level 2018 classification, one further the older 2005 classification.
In the 3 to 15 kW power range, the YE2/YE3 programme covers the classic demand of small and medium industrial drives for pumps, fans and conveyors, which numerous Chinese manufacturers offer in parallel under their own brand names.
When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating marks on the terminal box and fan cover, the condition of shaft and key, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and the YE2 or YE3 designation. Spares are usually available independent of manufacturer thanks to the widely used frame size.
