The T-MOTOR H7 Mini (China) is a small H743 FPV flight controller supported by ArduPilot (target TmotorH7Mini). It is meant for small multicopters that are to fly position hold, GPS return and missions with ArduPilot without carrying a large autopilot module.
The STM32H743 at 480 MHz offers the reserve that ArduPilot needs. The gyro is an ICM42688 or a BMI270 depending on the fit, and a barometer is present. Interfaces are 6 UART, up to 9 outputs and an AT7456E OSD that overlays flight data on the analogue video picture. Two BECs supply 5 V at 2 A and 10 V at 1.5 A. The input voltage is 2S to 6S LiPo. With only one IMU it offers no redundancy of the kind a mission autopilot with several IMUs has; in return, as a Mini version, it is tailored to small frames.
In the EU the finished drone decides on class and duties: C0 is below 250 g, C1 below 900 g with Direct Remote ID. When flying with goggles an observer is needed in the open category. ArduPilot includes geofence and failsafe, which can serve as the basis of a geo-awareness function.
When selecting, clarify which gyro sits in the delivered board, because filter parameters depend on the sensor type. The 10 V rail with 1.5 A limits which video transmitter may be connected. The number of outputs is enough for a quadcopter with one extra device, not for larger platforms. Wear shows at the USB socket and solder pads; before ArduPilot updates the parameter file is saved, after modifications the accelerometer and compass are calibrated.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
