The ARK FPV Flight Controller from ARK Electronics (USA) is a flight controller of the 30x30 class for small multicopters. It combines the form of an FPV controller with the technology of an autopilot and runs PX4, ArduPilot or Betaflight, so the same hardware can be used for manual flight as well as for missions.
The processor is an STM32H743IIK6 at 480 MHz with 2 MB flash and 1 MB RAM. The single IMU is an IIM-42653 from TDK's industrial series, plus one barometer; sensor redundancy as in a mission autopilot is therefore not there. The connections include USB-C, 9 PWM, RC (UART), telemetry (UART with flow control), GPS (UART or I2C), CAN, VTX (UART), SPI and microSD; two regulators supply 12 V at 2 A and 5 V at 2 A. The input voltage ranges from 5.5 to 54 V (3S to 12S). The board measures 36 × 36 × 8 mm and weighs 7.5 g including the microSD card.
ARK lists the product as Blue Framework listed, built in the USA and NDAA compliant, which US federal contracts may require. In the EU the total weight of the finished drone decides: below 250 g class C0 applies without Direct Remote ID, from class C1 (below 900 g) it is mandatory.
When selecting, the firmware determines the behaviour: Betaflight for manual flight, PX4 or ArduPilot for missions; parameters cannot be carried across. The CAN port allows DroneCAN peripherals, and the microSD keeps logs for analysis after a crash. Wear shows at the USB-C socket and the connectors; propeller damage raises gyro noise, and after every modification the attitude is calibrated.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
