The Chevy Van is General Motors' full-size van of the G range, built in several generations since 1964 and Chevrolet's answer in the US and Canada to the Ford Econoline and Dodge Ram Van; since the 2000s the range has continued under the name Express. The type numbers 10, 20 and 30, and later 1500, 2500 and 3500, give the payload and weight class, G marks the frame type. A large share of the vehicles listed in the register carry conversions by bodybuilders such as Starcraft, which turned the panel van into a motorhome or leisure vehicle with windows, bench seats and a pop-up roof.
