The TM series was New Holland's upper class from the Basildon plant from 1999 to 2007 – the range that replaced the Ford New Holland 8x60 models and whose successor became the T7000. Its hallmark stands in every row of the register: all eleven models carry the same six-cylinder of 7,478 cm³, the New Holland engine from the Fiat-Iveco family, in naturally aspirated and turbo form with 115 to 190 hp. The type logic: TM stands for the series, the number gives the output in hp – TM 115, TM 125, TM 135, TM 150 and TM 165 of the first generation, TM 120, TM 130, TM 140, TM 155, TM 175 and TM 190 of the revised generation from 2002 with common rail and the version with suspended front axle. Range Command and Power Command denoted the transmissions: semi-powershift with 18 speeds or full powershift with 19 speeds.
