New Holland T8000 (2007–2011) – the high-horsepower tractor from Racine as twin of the Case IH Magnum: T8010 to T8050, the last digits as power step, six-cylinders of 8.3 to 8.8 litres, 163 to 239 kW, 9.7 to 11.0 t
The T8000 was New Holland's high-horsepower tractor of the 220 to 330 hp class – introduced in 2007 as successor to the TG, built in Racine, Wisconsin, at the plant of group partner Case IH, whose Magnum the T8000 matches technically apart from bonnet, cab and colour. The type logic: T marks the tractor ranges of the blue programme, 8 the high-horsepower class, the last digits the power step – T8010 about 220 hp, T8020 about 250, T8030 about 275, T8040 about 300, T8050 about 330 hp – with power boost for PTO and transport work. The engines are six-cylinders from the group – Cursor 9 of 8.7 litres by Iveco/FPT at 2,200 rpm, with common-rail injection and emission stage IIIA – the transmission the full powershift with 18 forward and 4 reverse speeds, the cab with suspended front axle and the IntelliView control system.

The register lists 5 versions with 162.5 to 239 kW from six-cylinders of 8,268 to 8,849 cm³, torque from 913 to 1,067 Nm, unladen weights from 9,673 to 11,008 kg, a length of 5,829 mm, a width of 2,490 mm and a height of 3,331 mm, approved for diesel and biodiesel.
The T8000 is the tractor of arable farms in North America, Eastern Europe and Australia – heavy, long-stroke, with the wheelbase for wide tillage; its successor T8 came in 2011 with emission stage IIIB and SCR.
On used tractors, operating hours, engine and injection, powershift transmission (clutches, calibration), front-axle suspension, hydraulics and electronics, tyres and dual wheels count, as does parts supply through CNH, largely identical with the Case IH Magnum.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
- Shift the gearbox cold and warm — jumps only show up at temperature.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
