Bucher-Guyer was a Swiss maker of agricultural machinery based in Niederweningen in the canton of Zurich, whose tractor production has today become part of the Bucher Industries group. The D series with the 1700, 2000, 4000 and D 1800 models comprises compact two- to four-cylinder diesel tractors, typical of the small-structured farming of Switzerland.

Used, the D models call for checking engine condition and the injection pump, clutch and transmission, brakes on slopes, and the condition of sheet metal and hydraulic hoses; front-axle bearings and the PTO are also worth a look on the older vintages. Parts are today offered mainly by Swiss farm-machinery specialists and the Bucher Industries successor business.
