Belarus is the export brand of the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), which has built tractors in the Belarusian capital Minsk since 1946 and, with several million units produced, ranks among the world's largest tractor makers; the brand supplies more than 100 countries, with strongholds in Russia, the successor states of the Soviet Union, Africa and Latin America.
