International Harvester was formed in 1902 from the merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company with the Deering Harvester Company in Chicago, and from the 1950s built the B series at its English plant in Doncaster, sold depending on the export market as "International" or "McCormick-International"; this is why B-250, B-275 and B-414 appear in the register several times with slightly different spellings. After the 1985 sale of IH's agricultural division to Case the McCormick name lay dormant until the Italian Argo Group revived it in 1999 for a new tractor range; the Mtx 140 and XTX165 listed here come from this second chapter of the brand's history and represent the mid and upper power segments.
