This page gathers the International tractors the register could not assign to a named range – from the B types built in Doncaster, England, to the North American successors of the Farmall in the 400 to 900 series. International Harvester was formed in Chicago in 1902 from the merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company with the Deering Harvester Company and other implement makers; in 1923 the firm launched the Farmall, the first general-purpose row-crop tractor with a narrow front axle. The type logic of the models listed here: the B-250 and B-275 were built at the British Doncaster works and carry the B designation typical of IH Europe, the three-digit types 434 to 956 of the 1960s to 1980s order the range in the first digit and the development stage in the following ones, AXL marks four-wheel-drive versions. In 1985 International Harvester's agricultural arm merged with J. I. Case to form Case IH.

On used tractors, the older Farmall and B types call for checking the condition of the cylinder head and carburettor, the tightness of the hydraulic system, the condition of the front axle and steering, rust on sheet metal, and, on the 400 to 900 series, the gearbox and clutch; parts run through the Case IH network and a broad independent-parts scene around the Farmall classics.
