Böcker supplies mainly roofing, scaffolding and façade contractors, who use the inclined hoist to move material onto a roof or scaffold, while the trailer cranes serve as a mobile lifting aid on sites without a fixed crane. The inclined hoists can usually be towed by a car and are often kept in the rental fleets of larger construction firms and scaffolding contractors.

When buying used, check on the hoists the condition of the running rail and cable winch, load capacity and limit switches; on the trailer cranes the condition of the jib, hydraulics and outriggers, plus a current inspection sticker and the chassis brake system.
