The LT series held the mid-size utility-tractor class at the Allis-Gleaner Corporation (AGCO), between the compact GT and the big DT series: the LT-70, LT-75, LT-85 and LT-90 with four-cylinder diesel engines. The Allis-Gleaner Corporation emerged in 1990 from the management buyout of the farm-equipment division of Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz, previously Deutz-Allis, becoming the foundation of today's AGCO group, headquartered in Duluth, Georgia.
