Zetor UR1 Serie 7

The register lists 3 versions with 54 to 55 hp from four-cylinder diesel engines of 3,120 to 3,432 cm³ displacement at 2,200 to 2,225 rpm. The hydraulic lift capacity ranges from 1,700 to 1,800 kg, lengths from 3,700 to 3,770 mm, and on the cab versions recorded, heights lie between 2,400 and 2,450 mm.

In this power class the range was a standard tractor for medium-sized farms in Czechoslovakia and in the export markets of the Comecon states and Western Europe, where Zetor tractors were valued for their rugged, simple engineering. Implements, PTO and three-point hydraulics made the types 5718, 5745 and 5748 versatile tractors for fieldwork, transport and yard duty.

When buying used, check clutch and gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics including the lift arms, rust on cab and wings, and the cylinder head and injection pump; parts for engine and drivetrain are available through the Czech Zetor parts trade, with wear parts such as clutch discs and brake linings also found through independent suppliers of Eastern European farm machinery.
