Zetor Crystal (UR II) – large tractors of types 8011/8045, 10011/10045, 12011/12045 and 16045 from Brno in the 1980s, four- to six-cylinder diesels from 59 to 110 kW
The Crystal series forms Zetor's in-house UR II generation, replacing the first Zetor generation, UR I, from the 1970s onward. The tractors were built in Czechoslovak Brno, where Zetor has been based since its founding in 1946. Type numbers such as 8011, 10011, 12011 and 16045 reflect the power class in horsepower in their first two digits, while pairings such as 8011/8045 or 10011/10045 denote different execution variants of the same base type within the Crystal range.

As large tractors from Czechoslovak production, the Crystal models were exported in large numbers to the Eastern Bloc countries and beyond, where alongside Soviet brands such as Belarus they ranked among the most widespread workhorses of socialist agriculture.
When buying used, check the condition of the clutch and gearbox, tightness of the hydraulic pump and steering hydraulics, corrosion on the wings, cab floor and radiator grille, and parts availability, which for this widely used series is well secured through Zetor's distribution and a dense network of eastern European specialist dealers.
