Vogelzang was a Dutch manufacturer of semi-trailers for heavy haulage. The V02 series runs from the V02 12 20 S to the V02 STG 15 36 STN; the designations follow Dutch vehicle registration data (RDW) and appear as technical short codes. With the V02 series, Vogelzang supplied hauliers in the heavy segment who relied on high payload and sturdy construction rather than light standard trailers.

The register lists here 6 versions with unladen weights from 7,340 to 9,980 kg, gross weights from 32,000 to 50,000 kg, a length of 13,850 mm and widths from 2,550 to 2,600 mm.

With gross weights up to 50 tonnes, the V02 trailers are among the heaviest versions in the register and were built for steel, machinery and heavy-load haulage, which requires correspondingly powerful tractor units and special permits. Competing with specialised heavy-haulage manufacturers such as Nooteboom or Faymonville, Vogelzang remained a smaller supplier; used V02 trailers today mostly serve regional steel and machinery transport.

Checks when buying used include the frame and side rails for cracks, the condition of axles, brakes and suspension, the kingpin and landing legs, and hydraulic systems on lowering versions; the axle load history shows earlier special transports. It is also worth checking the frame reinforcements around the axles and the connections between tractor and trailer for wear.
