UTVs of this size are used in farming for check rides and light haulage as well as in hunting, forestry and leisure, where the bench seat and enclosed cab make them an alternative to the quad. The cargo bed behind the seats also allows the transport of tools, feed or game, for which a plain quad needs a separate trailer.

Used, the condition of the engine and belt drive (with a stepless transmission the variator), brakes, axle ball joints and tyres count, along with the tightness of the cab and roof; parts for smaller UTV brands usually run through the relevant importer. On examples previously used in forestry, it is also worth checking the underbody guard, winch and tow hitch.
