Trailertrading Other models

The register lists here 75 versions with unladen weights from 330 to 2,490 kg and gross weights from 1,600 to 3,500 kg. Lengths lie between 4,310 and 8,470 mm, widths between 1,740 and 2,600 mm.

Trailers in this weight range cover the field between light car trailers and smaller tandem-axle versions and are used to carry vehicles, machinery, boats or general cargo. The many codes and spelling variants reflect that the models were recorded over a long period and through several registration authorities.

On a used example, the condition of frame and drawbar, corrosion on axles and mounting points, the function of the overrun brake above 750 kg gross weight, the state of the lighting system, and tyres and wheel-bearing play all matter. Because the exact type designation, owing to the inconsistent spellings, often differs from the registration document, it is worth checking the chassis number against the type plate before buying.
