Tracon Trailers Other models

The register lists 70 versions here with a kerb weight of 920 to 14,020 kg and a gross weight of 4,000 to 48,000 kg. Widths range from 2,150 to 2,600 mm, lengths from 3,090 to 14,100 mm.

With a gross weight of 4 to 48 tonnes, the collector page covers the heavier O3 and O4 classes, as used in commercial freight haulage and the transport of machinery and building materials. Such trailers and semi-trailers are common among haulage and transport firms that need different load weights and body forms.

When buying used, check the frame and axle assemblies for rust, cracks and play, and the braking system together with the air supply for leak-tightness. The load area, sides and lashing points should be checked for wear; parts for common axles, braking systems and couplings are available from commercial-vehicle dealers. On the larger versions, the connections of the compressed-air braking system and the condition of the mudguards are also worth checking.
