This page gathers the Toshiba ZWE-range three-phase motors the Australian energy-efficiency register could not assign to a named model. Model designations such as ZWE 200L2-2 or ZWE 280M-4 combine the IEC frame size (200, 280) with the build length and the pole-count suffix; within Toshiba's programme, ZWE marks the larger industrial motors from frame size 160 up, distinct from the smaller ranges the group carries under their own names.

The register lists here 14 versions with 14 to 110 kW, two- to six-pole, full-load efficiencies from 89.4 to 94.91% and at 75% load from 89.82 to 94.83%. Frame sizes run from 160 to 280, voltage is mostly 400/415/440/690 V; China dominates as the manufacturing country, alongside a combination of the USA, Taiwan and China. Testing followed the 2019 GEMS determination, consistently with test method A.
The ZWE range covers the upper power band of Toshiba's standard-motor programme and there competes with the large motors of ABB, Siemens and WEG, chiefly in applications for compressors, pumps and conveying plant in heavy industry.
When buying used, bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, the condition of shaft, key and fan cover, a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and voltage, and, given the many documented protection ratings and mounting codes, matching the nameplate to the actual installation all matter; spares run through the Toshiba International distribution network.
