Thomas Other models

The register lists here 24 versions with unladen weights from 531 to 3,190 kg, gross weights from 1,300 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 4,550 to 11,610 mm and widths from 1,420 to 2,470 mm.

The combination of low unladen weight and lengths of over eleven metres on a comparatively narrow track is typical of boat trailers, as used for sailing and motor boats in the rental and private market. Such trailers are mostly sold directly through the boat dealer or marina rather than through a dedicated brand dealer network.

On used trailers of this class, the condition of keel rollers and support pads, rust on frame and axle, wheel-bearing play, the function of the cable winch and the tightness of the lighting count; parts for the older NW types run through independent trailer workshops. Anyone taking over a used Thomas trailer should also check whether the keel rollers and supports are matched to the particular boat rather than simply carried over from the previous owner.
