The register lists 7 versions with unladen weights from 1,880 to 5,700 kg, gross weights from 3,500 to 8,000 kg, lengths from 9,260 to 11,950 mm and widths from 1,700 to 2,550 mm. The span of gross weights thus reaches from vehicle class O2 into O3.

With this span of gross weights, the Mistral range covers the transition from the car trailer to the light commercial trailer: the lighter versions can be towed by ordinary vehicles on a category B or B96 licence, the heavier versions on a BE or C1E licence in commercial use for transport, trade or agriculture. The uniform model designation makes it easier to compare the versions, even though body and use differ depending on the weight class.

When buying used, depending on the weight class, the axles and braking system matter – an overrun brake on the lighter versions, a full braking system on the heavier ones – along with the chassis for rust and distortion, the loading floor for wear, and the trailer coupling and wiring; parts availability depends on the relevant dealer.
