System Trailers Other models

The register lists 91 versions with kerb weights from 2,320 to 15,920 kg, gross weights from 5,200 to 45,000 kg, lengths from 5,890 to 14,150 mm and widths from 2,430 to 2,600 mm.

With gross weights up to 45 tonnes, the range targets professional agricultural transport at harvest time, when large quantities of root crops or bulk goods need moving between field, store and processing; in this segment System Trailers competes with specialised makers of tipping and dolly semi-trailers, whose vehicles are usually fully utilised only during the few weeks of the potato and beet harvest and are used for other bulk goods for the rest of the year.

When buying used, check above all the condition of the frame and side boards, the tightness and function of the tipping hydraulics, the state of axles, brakes and tyres, and corrosion at load-bearing welds; on dolly trailers also check the drawbar eye and turntable. Spares are usually obtainable only through the manufacturer or specialised agricultural-machinery dealers.
