Stema Other models

The register lists 11 versions with unladen weights from 209 to 1,120 kg and gross weights from 850 to 3,000 kg. Lengths range from 2,870 to 7,155 mm and widths from 1,490 to 2,350 mm, from compact trailers to long versions for boats or vehicles.

The range from just under 1 tonne to 3 tonnes gross weight shows a broad line-up between simple transport trailers and heavier tandem versions. Stema trailers are used both privately and commercially to carry vehicles, boats and bulky loads, with the longer versions mainly carrying boats and small vehicles.

When buying used, check the overrun brake actuator and brake cables, corrosion on the chassis and axles, and tyre load capacity against the gross weight rating. On the longer tandem versions, also check the stub axle bearings, tread condition and damp under any tarpaulin cover.
