Stema Other models

The register lists 63 versions here with a kerb weight of 154 to 1,465 kg and a gross weight of 850 to 3,500 kg. Widths range from 1,410 to 2,550 mm, lengths from 2,860 to 7,160 mm.

With a gross weight of up to 3.5 tonnes, the collector page covers the whole of the O2 class, towable on an ordinary car licence. Stema trailers of this size typically serve to haul boats, machinery and building materials for private and trade use, and the make is known for its ball couplings and axle systems.

When buying used, check the frame and load area for rust and distortion, and on boat trailers the rollers and keel supports for wear as well. The overrun brake, wheel bearings, tyre age and lighting system belong to the standard check; since Stema manufactures trailer components itself, parts such as ball couplings, axles and braking systems are widely available. The condition of the mudguards, jockey wheel and number-plate light is worth a quick check as well, since these parts are exposed to constant road spray.
