The register lists 3 versions with six- and eight-cylinder engines, kerb weights of 6,600 to 8,890 kg at a gross vehicle weight of 7,490 to 10,442 kg, lengths of 9,830 to 10,600 mm and widths of 2,460 to 2,540 mm.

As a chassis manufacturer, Spartan does not supply end customers directly but bodybuilders in the US, who fit these chassis with motorhome, emergency and other special bodies; the considerable lengths of the chassis listed here match typical motorhome dimensions. Spartan's fire-apparatus chassis, too, usually have their own, shorter lengths.

When buying a used chassis with body of this kind, check the condition of the frame and suspension given the high gross weights, corrosion at the connection points between chassis and body, the braking system, and, on motorhome bodies, additionally moisture and the seal of the body itself. On fire-apparatus bodies, the pump and the wiring of the special equipment also need attention.
