This page gathers the Socage aerial platforms the register could not assign to a named range – bodies mounted on light van and chassis-cab commercials up to 3.5 tonnes gross weight. Socage of Carpi in the province of Modena was founded in 1974 as SO.CA.GE, Società di Carpenteria Generale, and from 1981 specialised in articulated-boom aerial platforms, work that made it one of Italy's leading manufacturers in the field. The type names give the working height in metres first – 16A, 20TJ, 23T, 24D, 27D – followed by the boom type: TJ denotes the telescopic jib boom, the Speed suffix the fast-acting hydraulics of the current forSte range. The platforms are mounted on van chassis from various makers and registered as a stand-alone commercial vehicle.
