Shibaura Other models

The register lists 84 versions here with 8.2 to 78 kW, or 11 to 105 hp, from four-cylinder diesel engines.

With this model range Shibaura serves mainly the compact segment for garden, orchard and smaller yard work and competes there with Kubota, Iseki and Yanmar, often drawing on the same Japanese supplier structures for engines and hydraulics. The SD and SF series are aimed at specialised uses such as paddy-field and special-crop work, while the S and P types are laid out as classic yard tractors.

When buying used, the small compact models call for checking the condition of the hydrostatic drive and PTO clutch, the tightness of hydraulic hoses, and rust on the chassis and bonnet; since many Shibaura engines were fitted identically in other brands' tractors, parts supply through Kubota, Ford and New Holland dealers is sometimes easier than through Shibaura directly.
