Trailers of this class are used by trade businesses, landscaping firms and the building industry as much as by private owners for transporting machinery, materials or vehicles, mostly as open platform or tipping trailers. The used market for such trailers is large and hard to overview across Europe, as many smaller manufacturers built similar designs in changing series over decades.

On a used example, the condition of the axles and brakes, the function of the overrun device, rust on the frame and load floor, the condition of the sideboards and lashing points and the lighting system all count; spare parts run through the open trailer trade. Also worth checking are the coupling head, wheel chocks, tyre age and whether the chassis number matches the registration documents.
