The Corsaro range in the register comprises the Corsaro 70 and the Corsaro 70 DT; the DT suffix on SAME and other Italian brands stands for Doppia Trazione, four-wheel drive, while the base version drives only the rear axle. The range is built at the parent plant in Treviglio near Bergamo; since the merger with Lamborghini Trattori, Hürlimann and later Deutz-Fahr, SAME belongs to the SAME Deutz-Fahr group while remaining a distinct brand.

At around 67 hp, the Corsaro 70 sits in the typical range of Italian mid-class tractors used on grassland, in orchards and vineyards and on mixed arable farms; the DT four-wheel-drive version extends the range of use to sloped and heavy ground.
On a used Corsaro 70, the condition of the front hub and transfer gearbox on the DT version, clutch and gearbox, tightness of the hydraulics and PTO and rust on mudguards and steps matter; parts run through the SAME Deutz-Fahr group network.
