Roelofsen – collective page of horse-transport bodies on a Master base outside the named series: 2,299 cc four-cylinder diesel, gross weight 3,500 kg, length 6,210 to 6,240 mm
Roelofsen of Raalte in the Netherlands builds bodies for horse transporters; this collective page lists two van-chassis-based versions the register has not assigned to a named series of its own. The designation Master points to the base chassis, Parados Economic to a more simply equipped body variant.

The register lists here 2 versions with a 2,299 cc four-cylinder engine, kerb weights from 2,557 to 2,770 kg, a gross weight of 3,500 kg, lengths from 6,210 to 6,240 mm and widths from 2,090 to 2,140 mm.
Van-based horse transporters of this weight class target private horse owners and smaller yards who want to drive on a category B licence while carrying one or two horses under weather protection; the compact length also makes parking easier at shows and yards with limited space.
When buying used, check the condition of the floor and partitions in the horse area, ventilation and damp in the body, rust on the chassis frame beneath the body mounting, the condition of the ramp and its catches, and the clutch and brakes of the Master chassis; lighting and ventilation are also worth checking for longer journeys.
On horse transporters of this kind, alongside the gross vehicle weight, the individual axle load also limits the payload that can actually be used, since the weight of the animals is concentrated towards the rear of the body; the placement of the partitions therefore affects how evenly the load is spread between front and rear axle. The conversion replaces the van chassis's standard panel body with the specialised horse-compartment structure.
