The register lists here 40 versions with unladen weights from 380 to 2,780 kg, gross weights from 1,100 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 6,470 to 9,300 mm and widths from 2,050 to 2,550 mm.

Trailers in this weight class are towed on an ordinary car licence and cover a broad range of uses from the transport trailer to the twin-axle trailer for machinery and boats; the segment of light to medium trailers is densely populated in Europe, ranging from large series manufacturers to smaller specialist builders.

When buying used, single-axle trailers call for checking the condition of the drawbar and jockey wheel, twin-axle versions the equalising suspension of the axles, plus the overrun brake or braking system, tyres, the load floor and rust on the chassis and mudguards; parts such as axles, couplings and lighting are available through the general trailer-parts trade largely independent of brand.
