Ratar – Tractors from IMK 14. Oktobar in Kruševac, Yugoslavia
The Ratar brand traces back to the IMK works, founded in 1923 by Austrian and Hungarian investors in Kruševac, Serbia, to build and repair railway wagons. After the Second World War the plant was nationalised and given the added name "14. Oktobar", marking the day Kruševac was liberated in 1944. From 1950, IMK built tractors under the Ratar brand based on licensed Porsche/Allgaier designs, growing into one of the largest heavy-machinery manufacturers in then-Yugoslavia. Listed in the register: type A 111.
