RAPIDO Other models

The register lists here 66 versions with unladen weights from 620 to 920 kg, gross weights from 780 to 1,000 kg, lengths from 4,900 to 5,730 mm and widths from 1,800 to 2,140 mm.

With a gross weight just under a tonne combined with a fairly long body, the Rapido trailers count among the light, long-bodied units of class O2, of the kind used for boats, leisure equipment or light touring bodies. The French-sounding model names such as Club, Orline and Golf fit a leisure and caravanning market profile.

Buying one of these long, light-bodied trailers used, check the frame for twist and corrosion at the support points first, plus the condition of the drawbar, jockey wheel and, depending on version, the overrun brake. Also check the side panels or canvas body for condition, the seal of any superstructure, and the lighting along the full length. With 66 versions across trim levels such as T, CP and Evolution, the type plate is the most reliable way to identify a given trailer.
