Ram Other models

The register lists here 119 versions with 177 to 516 kW from six- to eight-cylinders of 2,987 to 6,700 cm³, unladen weights from 2,411 to 14,535 kg, gross weights up to 21,670 kg, lengths from 5,800 to 9,430 mm and widths from 1,980 to 2,585 mm.

The span thus runs from the classic pick-up to the heavy chassis-cab for tipper or box bodies, positioning Ram in the North American market against the Ford F-150/Super Duty and Chevrolet Silverado.

When buying used, what counts is the condition of the frame and suspension (especially on four-wheel-drive models), wear on the clutch and automatic transmission, on the Cummins diesels the condition of the turbocharger and exhaust aftertreatment (DPF, AdBlue), on the HEMI V8s the cylinder-deactivation system, and rust on the load bed and wheel arches; also important is the vehicle's origin (US import versus EU registration) because of differing emissions and registration rules.
