Quality Trailers Other models

The register lists 45 versions with an unladen weight from 430 kg to 10.6 t and a gross weight from 1.3 to 17 t. Lengths range from 6.33 to 13.35 m, widths from 1.7 to 2.54 m.

This range spans light single-axle trailers as well as heavy twin-axle or tandem trailers for transport and construction firms, used for hauling machinery, containers or general cargo. Depending on size, the trailers serve to haul construction machinery, agricultural equipment, vehicles or loose bulk material; the spread of unladen and gross weight reflects these different uses.

When buying used, key checks include corrosion on the frame and chassis rails, the condition of axles, suspension and brakes, and play in the couplings. On larger versions, tyres, brake lines and the lighting system are also worth checking. On tandem and tridem versions, checks should also cover even brake-force distribution between the axles, as well as the condition of chocks and jockey wheels. Spare parts for axles, brakes and couplings are stocked by dealers specialising in commercial trailers.
