Poltrail Other models

The register lists here 32 versions with unladen weights from 260 to 1,270 kg and gross weights from 1,050 to 3,500 kg.

Boat trailers of this class are towed on an ordinary car licence and are designed for launching motor and fishing boats and kayaks, with adjustable keel rollers or support rails; the English-language model names are clearly aimed at the fishing and watersports market. For launching, besides the trailer lighting, a waterproof number-plate board or a submersible socket is often needed so the electrics are not damaged when the axle is submerged.

On used boat trailers, corrosion of frame and axle from contact with water counts in particular, along with the condition of rollers, keel supports and winch, wheel bearings and brakes, and a working submersible axle for launching; wear parts are available through watersports dealers. It is also worth checking the registration papers, since boat trailers are frequently resold without a technical inspection.
