POLAR Trailers up to 3.5 t (Class O2)

The register lists here 201 versions with unladen weights from 200 to 2,010 kg, gross weights from 1,000 to 2,800 kg, lengths from 4,150 to 9,500 mm and widths from 1,860 to 2,550 mm – long, narrow dimensions typical of boat transport.

Boat trailers of this size are a mass market in Scandinavia and Northern European watersports, with adjustable keel supports and roller tracks as the central equipment feature for different hull shapes.

When buying used, what matters is rust on the chassis, especially in the part that touches water, the condition and free movement of rollers and keel supports, the function of the wheel bearings (often stressed by submersion during launching), the condition of the brake system where fitted, and the tightness of the lighting; a valid roadworthiness inspection is basic equipment. Spares run through the Nordic boat-accessory trade.
