Like other Chinese compact-tractor brands, Ouqi chiefly serves export markets in Eastern Europe, where these tractors appear as a budget alternative to Western and Japanese brands for small farms, orchards, vineyards and municipal services.

On used tractors, operating hours and injection-pump condition, tightness of clutch and hydraulic lift, on the TY404 vineyard the track width and condition of the narrow mudguards, and rust on thin-gauge panels count; parts run through the relevant importer.

As with most Chinese compact-tractor brands, engine design in this class closely follows established Japanese diesel layouts, easing servicing and parts sourcing for independent workshops, even though original parts can only be obtained through the importer.
