Oliver / Fiat 50 series

The register lists here 3 versions with 30.9 to 48.6 kW from three- and four-cylinder engines of 2,270 to 4,397 cm³, unladen weights from 1,490 to 2,720 kg, lengths from 2,997 to 3,452 mm, widths from 1,283 to 1,585 mm and heights from 1,300 to 2,355 mm, at speeds of 1,900 to 2,500 rpm.

With four-wheel drive on all three models, the range targeted more demanding terrain in North America and Europe; the combination of Oliver distribution and Fiat engineering was part of the growing international ties among tractor makers of the period, before Oliver was absorbed into the White Motor Corporation in the 1970s.

On a used example of this range, the condition of the four-wheel-drive clutch and front-axle gearing, rust on the chassis and wings, the function of the hydraulics, and, on the rare dual-fuel diesel/petrol versions, the condition of the carburettor or ignition system all count; parts for the Fiat engineering are easier to source than Oliver-specific fittings.
