When buying used, the fifth-wheel plate and kingpin for wear, axles, suspension and brakes, the frame for distortion and corrosion, and the condition of the deck and body all matter; a complete inspection history is especially important on older semi-trailers of this range. It is also worth checking lighting, electrical connectors and tyre tread depth. Spare parts run through the Dutch semi-trailer trade.
