Netam Fruehauf Trailers over 10 t (Class O4)

The register lists 295 versions with unladen weights of 2,300 to 29,150 kg and permissible gross weights of 12,000 to 45,000 kg. Lengths range from 1,273 to 14,700 mm, and width for all 295 versions from 300 to 3,000 mm.

In France and the neighbouring francophone markets, the brand competes with the European industry giants Schmitz Cargobull and Krone as well as with specialist French makers such as Lecitrailer.

On used trailers, what counts is the condition of the axles (BPW/SAF) and EBS braking system, air suspension, frame corrosion, the kingpin and landing legs; on box trailers, the tightness of walls and roof; on tankers, the tightness and inspection certificates of the tank; and an unbroken inspection history; as Class O4 vehicles they carry compressed-air braking as standard rather than the overrun brake fitted to light trailers, so the brake valves and coupling heads of the air lines belong on the checklist too.
