Nelbach Other models

The register lists 52 versions here with unladen weights from 240 to 1,420 kg and gross vehicle weights from 900 to 4,500 kg. Widths run from 1,800 to 2,530 mm.

Light trailers of this size serve to carry cargo, machinery or equipment in private and small commercial use, competing with other German builders of tandem and single-axle trailers in this market segment; the fine grading of gross weights from model to model allows a close match to the towing vehicle's permitted trailer load.

When buying used, this trailer class calls for checking the condition of the floor plate and side panels, corrosion on the frame and drawbar, the function of the overrun brake and lighting, and the condition of tyres and wheel bearings. Spare parts are widely available through trailer dealers and the manufacturer; on the XL and XXL versions the stability of the extended drawbar is also worth checking.
